The Opportunity
As a dedicatedFinancial AnalystSenior,youareresponsible forsolving complex business challenges through financial forecasting, planning, and modeling. Analyzes key financial areas includingUSAA’s technology organization thatrepresents25% of USAA’s expenses or3.5 billion dollars.Mentors team members on advanced financial analysis and complex financial processes, applying sound financial principles and best practices. Ensures all work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to bein the office 4 days per week.This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, orCharlotte, NC.

Whatyou'lldo:
Leads team or process in delivery of financial forecasts/plans for a business area or function; guides team members and oversees implementation of forecasting/planning process and model improvement initiatives and business solutions.
Prepares and guides team on complex financial reports and analysis or cost benefit analysis to support andprovidesinsight for internal and external management decision-making.
Interprets complex financial information and makes recommendations to business leaders. Implements solutions to key financial and operational opportunities.
Contributes to achievement of business goals andobjectivesby delivering value-added business decision support to customers and business partners across the organization.
Leads product assignments, product pricing, productprofitabilityand ad-hoc analysis.
Acts as a valued business partner by providing informed, proactive analysis and business insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resourceutilization.
Interacts with senior management and company leadership, guides team and promotes innovation and productivity to support USAA's mission and operating state.
Acquiresand applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes and serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues.
Ensuresrisks associated with business activities are effectivelyidentified, measured,monitored, and controlledin accordance withrisk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
6 yearsofexperience conducting complex analysis andprovidingactionable insights to various stakeholders.
Experience usingdatabases and applications to analyze complex business domains (for example:AI, including GenAI, data center, cloud, cyber).
Experience communicating keybusiness andfinancialconceptsthat result in strategic decision making.
What sets you apart:
Veteran or military-affiliated professional with experience in Cyber Command, DISA, Pentagon operations, acquisition programs, or technology modernization initiatives.
Veteran, DoD, or defense contractor professional with experience in cyber, procurement,logistics, acquisition, technology integration, or AI-related programs, combined with strong financial analytics, business partnering, and executive communication skills.
Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadersordirectors.
Demonstrated ability to support large technology organizations and complex investment portfolios is highly preferred.
Compensation range:The salary range for this position is: $103,450- $197,730.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
