The Opportunity
As a dedicatedPost Closing Analyst Mid-Level,youwillbe responsible forthe analysis of functions, processes, and products within the Post closing function. Develops andutilizesreporting tools tomonitorand make recommendations to managementregardingall functions and responsibilities withinPost Closing.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to bein the office 4 days per week.This position will be based in the San Antonio, TX office. Relocationassistanceisnotavailable for this position.
Whatyou'lldo:
Creates and runs daily/ad hoc reports to address trends andidentifydiscrepancies on post- closing data.
Analyzes post-closing report data to make recommendations to management.
Identifiesroot causes for data trends and discrepancies and recommends system enhancements for problem resolution.
Collaborates with internal partners within Real Estate to provide data discrepancies that may need corrections/updates. Provides guidance to mitigate future discrepancies.
Mayparticipatein the planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new and modifications to existing applications and processes to provide new or improved capabilities, products, and/or services.
Assistswith updating existing procedures andsubmitsinternal partners for content validation and publishing.
Provides operational support on current processes and supports business operations and management inidentifyingopportunities and solutions to meet current and future business needs.
Participates in the planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new and modifications to existing applications and processes to provide new or improved capabilities, products, and/or services.
Develops andmaintainsan understanding of overall business functions.
Maintainsbroad system knowledge relating to primary job function and backup to at least one other function.
Ensurerisks associated with business activities are effectivelyidentified, measured,monitored, and controlledin accordance withrisk and compliance policies and procedures.
Whatyouhave:
Bachelor'sdegree:OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experiencerequired) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of experience in mortgage and with general analysis experience within a financial services organization.
Knowledge of federal mortgage lending regulations and compliance.
Strong mathematical skillsrequiredto interpret and pricing dashboards.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable systems.
What sets you apart:
3 years of experience in collateral management or document custody.
Working knowledge of physical, post-closing collateral processes. Experience researching, reconciling, and resolving collateral discrepancies and/or missing documents.
Working knowledge of investor and agency guidelines,regardingcollateral handling and document retention.
Ability to multitask and proficient in Microsoft tools.
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.
Compensation range:The salary range for this position is: $62,470- $111,940.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
