The Opportunity

As a dedicated Executive Operational PlanningAdvisor ,you willresponsiblefor the development of briefings, communication, analyses and initiatives, and contributing to the development of appropriate action plans and responses from Executive Management Group (EMG) and/or the offices of the Executive Council (EC), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), or Board of Directors (BoD). You will assist in the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to achieve success within key results areas that align with USAA mission and strategic objectives, and may provide guidance to unit members both within and across CoSAs, enterprise CoEs and the CoSA staff member as well as act as a liaison between leadership and staff supporting EMG, EC, CEO, and BoD. 

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based out of our San Antonio, TX Office. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. 

What you'll do: 

  • Assistswith the coordination andtimelysubmission of all EMG, EC, CEO, andBoDdriven requirements. 

  • Provides advice and guidanceofdeliverable materials with executive management and subject-matter experts. 

  • Ensurescommunications meet established standards of appearance and content and that all logistical requirements are satisfied. 

  • Supports operational planning processes toassurethat management is knowledgeable of process, goals,objectivesand strategies. 

  • Provides support for monitoring and documenting progress toward achievement of business goals,objectives,strategiesand action plan results. 

  • Serves as an advisor to team members and functional area points of contacts providing input in support of EMG, EC, CEO, orBoDrequirements. 

  • Supports project teams in development and implementation of employeeCoSAevents and business conferences. 

  • Ensuresrisks associated with business activities are effectivelyidentified, measured,monitored, and controlledin accordance withrisk and compliance policies and procedures. 

Whatyouhave:

  • Bachelor'sdegree;OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experiencerequired) may be substituted in lieu of degree. 

  • 4 years of project/program management experience supporting senior level executives, corporate event planning and/or managing executive level communications. 

  • Ability to build strong relationships and to workwithall levels within the organization. 

  • Knowledge of and experience developing executive level briefings in support of EC, CEO andBoDdeliverables.  

  • Effective communication skills with experience in developing engaging and effective presentations for all levels of management. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information. 

  • Demonstrated capability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines. 

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $77,120.00-$138,810.00

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
