The Opportunity
We are seeking a HR Recruitment & Regional Office Brand Marketing Lead to develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies that attract top talent and strengthen our employer brand. This role involves optimizing the candidate journey across various recruitment marketing channels and building strong relationships with HR and regional leadership. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing external marketing agencies to achieve specific KPIs and project goals, while leveraging data and market insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize recruitment campaign performance.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Leads collaborative relationships with Business Partners and Marketing in the development of marketing plans and strategies.
- Integrates cross-functional collaboration and innovations by supplying subject matter expertise between Business Partners and Marketing.
- Leads the delivery of status updates on marketing, sales and service activities to key stakeholders.
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs.
- Lead integrated team in the development of multi-channel creative campaigns to motivate audience to “take action".
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities that help support development of marketing strategies.
- Responsible for managing assigned Marketing budget/s.
- Provides coaching and training to team members.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 8 or more years of progressive related experience required.
- Subject-matter-expert understanding of the marketing function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities.

- HR Recruitment Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent. This includes a deep understanding of employer branding, candidate journey optimization, and the use of various recruitment marketing channels.
- Partnership Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners, particularly HR and regional leadership. Experience in aligning marketing strategies with their specific needs and objectives is highly desirable.
- Agency Management: Experience in managing external marketing agencies to achieve specific KPIs and project goals. This includes providing clear direction, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $243,340.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
