The Opportunity
As a dedicated IT Systems Analyst – Intermediate level, you will support Credit Card to implement and stabilize IT maintenance efforts. Proactively working with onshore and offshore teams to drive improvements in planning, execution and implementation of IT patches and upgrades. This role involves a comprehensive approach to analyzing trends, supporting departmental needs through data-driven insights, and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. A key aspect of the position is the daily alignment in standup and communicating updates to stakeholders to remove impediments and challenges.
Within defined guidelines and framework, assists in providing support between business and IT delivery functions for the purpose of enabling the on-boarding, enhancement and support of systems, applications and other technology solutions. Participates in the assessment of evolving business requirements, to include evaluating and validating technical requirements. Assists in translating technical requirements into functional solution specifications. Researches and helps the team resolve production issues and defects. Assists in the definition and creation of test artifacts.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based in our Plano, TX facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Under direct supervision learns and applies basic knowledge of simple IT delivery functions and their supporting business functions to include processes, services and technology solutions.
- Under direct supervision participates in the analysis and design of technology solutions supporting simple IT delivery functions to ensure their business needs are met.
- Under direct supervision participates in communications with customers on the analysis of business needs and requirements to deliver solution artifacts as needed.
- Participates in the gathering of technical requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, process analysis, use case scenarios, task inquiry and workflow analyses.
- Participates in the implementation and ongoing sustainment of technology solutions.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- Up to 2 years of related experience and accountability for executing projects related to process improvements, business requirements, technology solutions, or supporting activities.
- Foundational knowledge of the targeted IT functions and demonstrated application of the basic knowledge, skills and abilities needed to provide their support.
- Foundational level of business acumen, with exposure to industry practices and emerging trends in the areas related to the targeted IT delivery functions.
What sets you apart:
- 2 years of experience in data analysis/extraction, data reporting, and/or project management .
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Agile Methodology and Frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of data reporting/analysis tools and techniques; requirements gathering; Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding compliance, risk management, and data security frameworks.
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $54,550-$97,750.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
