The Opportunity

As a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner (Intermediate Level), supporting the Executive Recruiting team, you will provide comprehensive recruitment coordination, including scheduling (Zoom meetings and travel), and interacting regularly with senior executives and high-level executive candidates. You will partner with hiring managers, candidates, internal teams, and vendors to build strong relationships and deliver top talent to meet USAA's hiring needs. You will develop and drive proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse candidate pipelines for current and future openings.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week.

This position will be based in the San Antonio, TX office location.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Supports Executive Talent Acquisition Partners by coordinating interviews, scheduling Zoom meetings, scheduling travel arrangements for Executive level candidates and interacting with Senior Level executives hiring managers on a regular basis.

  • Guides hiring managers through the recruitment process to ensure compliance within external and internal regulatory agencies.

  • May participate in recruitment/networking events in support of military, diversity and niche expertise.

  • Serves as team member on staffing projects and initiatives impacting enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition strategies.

  • Participates in process efficiency and process improvement for Talent Acquisition.

  • Acquires and applies maturing knowledge of relevant human resources discipline(s), specifically employment law, policy and procedure.

  • Provides solutions and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.

  • Follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements.

  • Keeps candidates continually informed with high-touch communication throughout the entire hiring process

  • May negotiate salary per job requisition within approved range maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to the company.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • 2 years of progressive work experience in staffing, general human resources, and/or account relationship management, to include knowledge of applicable employment laws.

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and hiring practices.

  • Knowledge of effective screening and interviewing techniques.

  • Developing knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and other software to support sourcing tools and techniques.

  • Successful completion of a job-related assessment is required.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience with recruitment coordination.

  • Executive Administrative background.

  • Experience using Concur for travel arrangements.

  • Strong experience conducting Zoom meetings.

  • Ability to interface with Senior Executives on a regular basis.

  • HR experience/HR knowledge/HR degree(s) and/or certification(s).

  • Strong email and verbal communication skills.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $63,590.00 - $121,530.00 .

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
