The Opportunity
We are seeking Capital Markets Analyst with expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, Life Insurance, and Banking. The ideal candidate will adeptly translate key rating agency requirements to these sectors while understanding industry trends and their alignment with USAA's business strategy. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Direct relationship management experience with various counterparties and a pivotal initiative are needed for success in this role.

What you'll do:
- As a primary point of contact, completes transactions for a specific capital transaction type or line of business (ex. auto loan securitization, credit card securitization, catastrophe reinsurance, debt issuance, credit facility and bank relationship management, or rating agency relationship management).
- Demonstrates expertise to be primary point of contact for any capital transaction type or line of business.
- Leads entire capital markets transaction process for at least one type of capital market transaction, including offering documents, underwriting decisions, selecting and pricing assets for securitization, assess risk and model securitization cash flows, leading approvals, relations with internal and external partners, and due diligence responses.
- Provides input into other securitization underwriting processes.
- Negotiates price, terms and conditions of transactions and leads all aspects of document, memorandum, and statement preparation.
- Advises work efforts to maintain, inventory, and service debt covenants and restrictions and produce reports.
- Leads debt ratings process and potential risk evaluation process.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 6 years of finance, treasury, capital management, capital markets experience or 4 years of finance, treasury, capital management or capital markets experience.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques to include relevant job-related technical knowledge.
- Ability to work with both internal and external partners.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $93,770 - $179,240.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
