Purpose of Job

Enterprise Risk and Regulatory Delivery Executive will be responsible for oversight and effective delivery of a portfolio of critical Risk, Compliance and Regulatory efforts. This individual will lead a team of Program Managers and other leaders, partner with project management teams across the Enterprise and drive towards timely and quality delivery of internal and Regulatory commitments.

Job Requirements


Provides strategic leadership and management of direct and matrixed leaders responsible for the integrated program/project plans created to deliver the strategic vision.

Leads a team focused on key initiatives in a functional area and serves as an integration point to support complex area-specific or Enterprise-wide initiatives.

Ensures proper change management is in place along with measures for success.

Communicates, ensures alignment, and influences project acceptance across all levels of the Enterprise.

Participates and leads components of on-going operational planning, and may collaborate with other senior leadership or line of business stakeholders across business units.

Provides consultation and/or maintains current awareness of developments, trends, risk, and legal and regulatory changes in the Financial Services industry and technical fields: risk management, modeling, data infrastructure, data management, systems architecture, batch and real-time processing.

Sponsors and/or introduces production strategies unique to the area of support.

Sponsors technical and business initiatives.

Ensures the business is prepared to support and participate in the execution methodology for technical projects.

Makes strategic decisions that influence the operational and financial performance, ensuring outcomes effectively manage risk and compliance. Identifies trends and develops action plans to resolve abstract problems outside of set guidelines that impact the process execution.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree
4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Minimum Experience:

10 or more years of progressive related experience developing strategies, managing major initiatives and delivering results within a complex matrix environment required.

6 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams required.

Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals required.

Executive-level business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

Executive-level understanding and experience with strategic-level change management.

Executive level experience delivering member or customer facing capabilities in a complex multi-channel, multi-product, integrated system environment.

Executive level experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.

Expert understanding of project management principles.

Expert in the full life cycle experience managing strategic and operational programs.


Highly complex Project/Program Management experience spanning multiple lines of business either within a large financial institution OR as a consultant from a top consulting firm servicing large financial institutions. 

Experience managing Regulatory Matters and/or Enforcement Actions within risk and compliance

Past oversight of risk management and regulatory programs and projects in retail/consumer banking

Deep interaction and experience with regulatory agencies such as, OCC, FDIC, CFPB

Ability to navigate and influence very senior level executives (C-suite, Board level, etc.)

Demonstrated accomplishments building high performing teams
