Our main benefits package, which may vary by location, includes the following:
USAA pays the majority of employee medical premiums and offers a 100% paid preventative care benefit. We also provide two dental plan options.
We offer a 401(k) with an 8% match, along with an additional discretionary company contribution from 3% to 9% of pay. The plan includes multiple investment choices and permits pre-tax, Roth and after-tax employee contributions.
USAA provides options that offer income replacement in the event of a disability that prevents an employee from working for a period of time.
PTO offers employees the flexibility to take personal time away from work for any purpose, including vacations, personal or family reasons, or for illness. At the start of the benefit plan year, full-time employees receive up to 24 Flex Hours to use as time off for physicians’ appointments, children’s school events, etc. Employees may also buy or sell PTO or Flex Hours to have more control over their work/life balance.
USAA has designated six core holidays per year. In addition, full-time employees are eligible to receive up to 32 floating holiday hours to use as time off.
All active employees with continuous years of service are eligible for a service award. Recognition programs allow managers and fellow employees to recognize and reward employees for significant accomplishments or milestones.
